Special Olympics Car Show

The Special Olympics car show event on Saturday, May 18 raised funds to help defray the costs of putting on the annual competition for students with disabilities.

About 40 vehicles were entered in the event, which raised about $2,100, including some extra donations received at the door. Baile Folklorico from Walnut Grove, as well as Spotlight Dance Company, performed. About 100 people attended.

Next year’s event will be May 16.
