Editor,

I was so pleased to find only two ads for Josh Harder in this week’s paper. We do have a few other opinions about our United States Representative’s seat. After all, Jeff Denim has been our rep for at least the last six years so a few of us may like him. Our last representative was Democrat Dennis Cardoza. He didn’t even seem to live in the district. Can you find him now? I heard something about a horse ranch in Virginia.

The idea is this. Politics is local. We want representation that understands the unique problems in our area. How many letters have been published for Josh from Patterson. I do not recall any. How many have been published for Jeff? I am not saying we should not have support for Josh Harder but I am disappointed that our paper clearly preferred Modesto and Turlock opinions to our readers.

A little balance please.

Helen M. Castro

It was so refreshing to read your letter. I have been Josh weary for awhile now. That’s all I saw in our paper every week and when I wrote in stating facts about where Josh went right after graduating from high school and where he has received his campaign funds from it was never printed. He has no clue or can relate to valley values. I pray he is not elected. Again thank you for your letter.
