Services have been held for Kristi A. (Levin) O’Dell, of San Antonio, Texas, who died Jan. 8 after living with heart disease for several years. She was 66.

Mrs. O’Dell, who was raised in Tracy, worked in various administrative positions overseas and in San Antonio while supporting her husband’s military career. She retired from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Nursing in 2004 after experiencing cardiac arrest.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Darrell “Digger” O’Dell; two daughters, Lori Franckowiak, and her husband, Thomas, of Converse, Texas, and Lisa Ghavidel, and her husband, Robert, of Mico, Texas; her mother, Karen Levin of Tracy; a sister, Ronni Levin of Whidbey Island, Wash.; two grandsons; and an aunt and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her father, William Levin, and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. O’Dell’s name may be sent to the American Heart Association or to the UTHSCSA School of Nursing.
