Local artists had their talents on display during the first Downtown Tracy Artwalk of the summer on Friday evening.

Sponsored by the city and run by the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, the free event brings local visual and performing artists downtown to demonstrate, display and sell their art. Painters, craft makers, bands and photographers set up along Central Avenue between Seventh and Eighth streets and inside the Grand.

The next Downtown Tracy Artwalk will be July 19, and the last, on Sept. 21, will coincide with the Tracy City Center Association’s annual wine stroll.
