Last week’s Remember When mystery photo showed key officers of the Tracy High Band Boosters launching a series of fundraising activities in October 1979. Reggie Mersaroli, director of transportation for Tracy Public Schools, left, was Band Boosters vice president, and Ken Milligan, a California Highway Patrol officer, was president. Funds raised by sales of chocolate candy bars, car washes and bake sales helped provide transportation of the band to band reviews throughout California and buy new game-night uniforms.

Bob Cain recognized both of those standing in front of a school bus, and Jerry Dias, Jeanne Garcia and Lendy Gomez recognized Mersaroli.
